If we're into talking pretty, the high end audio physic models look incredibly nice, and sounds nice too, finish is first rate... price is first rate too

I don't think they are toed in enough.

Wow, nobody in the real world would position speakers like this, what's going on here..... it's the marketing guys at work....

I believe Joachim Gerhard was always very much into NOT using toe in of his speakers, when I have auditioned Audio Physic's it's always been with minimal toe-in.....

They are perfect, if you're sitting on the coffee table, or in that small chair.:D

Stop picking on big speakers you guys. A speaker does not have to be big, but it helps!

Difference is that these are good looking.... and they don't cost a gazillion $ to build, so it represents good value

As Adam says, "it's in the eye of the beholder!" But thanks for the compliment on the aesthetics.

Well, I just looked at the pics on your web site on the construction of these speakers, and this is one mighty impressive build, 3 mths in the making :cool::cool::cool::cool:

Three an a half months total for the build. It took around five months to work it out and do the drawings. For those interested here is the construction album.

I guess that's about what it takes to make the top of the Line Avalon Sentinel speakers too

And I know which speakers I would pick...... (not the Avalon's)

No, but it really sounds like you have
Not good, or

Hell, we could employ TLS Guy or Avaserfi full time for a long time to build many high end speakers for us, for the price of one of these pairs, well I don't know what they charge, but perhaps there's a business idea for them here

There's only one shop that I know of in my area that even carries them. I spent a few hours there one weekend auditioning some speakers :) They are obscenely expensive. I personally don't think they are that ugly...I've seen worse.

I really like the look of Aurum Cantus' loudspeakers. I don't know how they perform though.

No LOL Adam I need a million to build a house in Costa Rica with aocean view and a 800d surround rig with Levinson amps and Pre's. I also want a pool in my bedroom. It doesn't have to be big or anything 45" by 100" no biggie.....
Now you're talking! I have a friend with a massive house in Costa Rica, just South of Quepos and a gorgeous ocean view. My wife and I got married there. My Uncle lives inland, about 45 minutes north of San Jose. And I've thought many many times about cashing out and moving down there.

Nice indeed Sheep :D:D:D

And I always liked the Duntech's, mostly because of the way they perform.... now in newest reincarnation they also look much more modern and with newest Scanspeak and Dynaudio drivers.....

Not cheap though.....

Perhsps I really need to upgrade?
