I *think* those speakers were the first to use composite materials in the tweeters.
That receiver is 40watt per channel, so it would work perfectly.
You'd probably have a better, more reliable, amplifier if you bought a new one .... but the vintage with vintage is pretty cool. If you can get it fixed without breaking the bank, I'd do that. If it is going to cost a bunch to get it fixed, then just buy a new amplifier.
