Trump is effectively campaigning for all the Democratic/Progressive political parties around the world. (at least in what are known as "liberal democracies")

Wherever right wing parties make the major mistake of trying to use Trump tactics, voters are recognising it and voting "NOPE".

Unlike the leader of the Conservative party (who lost his riding and seat in parliment) , Carney has real world accomplishments instead of being a career politician who accomplished absolutely nothing during his tenure under Harper.

Carney became party leader because Trudeau was dragging the party down in the polls. He remained PM after the election, because voters on the left voted for the Liberal party to prevent the Conservatives from winning. While Trump certainly influenced the election outcome, it wasn't all about him.

I was never a fan of Trudeau, and I have specific reasons. Since he isn't literally "a bag of donuts", can you give any reasons why you don't like him? Stuff like "he's too woke" doesn't count.

I take most of my sentiment from some of my dear Canadians friends. With that being said, 'bag of donuts' may have been a bit melodramatic. It appeared to me he had become to 'Biden like', excessive spending, rising inflation, immigration issues, etc. While he had an initial superb approval rating years back, his armor after all those years was becoming tarnished, time to move on.

Again, here's hoping Carney has a successful outcome with Trump today !

Isn't excessive spending and rising inflation a Trump thing as well, or does this only matter when Democrats are in power? But aren't just as concerned about Trumps cognitive decline as you where for Biden?
