Yep, I'm having issues with my DVD changer...silly tray will open to the right point, however it will *immediately* pull the tray back in. Took about 30mins to luck out and get my velvet revolver CD out of it.
I am somewhat clueless on how these mechanisms work, and any help to speed up my learning so I can fix this crazy contraption would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Looks like the problem was from lack of lubrication on the drive mechanism, as well as an alignment issue....namely the carousel portion of the unit was somehow snagging something inside, making the unit think the tray was being pushed back in....pretty odd. Either way, removing the carousel and lubing the area with teflon grease was enough to get it working right again. Now the only time it jumps back in is if you ask to switch discs and then eject quickly....that seems to be a known quirk with this player, so no biggie.
