I spent an hour listening to a pair of JBL HDI-3600 a couple of years ago and came very close to purchasing them. Personally, I really liked the sound. If the op likes it loud then I would opt for the larger HDI-3600 but Shady's recommendations are usually pretty spot on. I would still demo in-store and try the Arendals in-house as personal preference will vary of course.
