Seems like this player does not accept DVD+Rs? Can anyone confirm or deny, particularly those of us who might own this player and have tried to play a dvd+r disc in it.

Never heard any issues that it could not.
Have you tried different media?

The A2, has no problem with DVD+Rs (or -Rs for that matter)
