Highfigh makes a very valid point while TLS Guy is fear mongering like a drama queen about ICE. ICE is not Gestapo. The Gestapo imprisoned people they arrested and inturned them into prison camps knowing full what was awaiting their fate. Hitler targetted the Jewish people as they held the wealth in Europe. ICE on the other hand are improperly trained rednecks without a job, are more like unqualified unexperienced mercinaries whose job is to imprison those for later deportation. Trump is after the illegal aliens. Its a fine line with the result being that people are losing their freedom over this but not targetted for execution. It does generate high. Do illegal aliens have the same right as US citizens? Thats one of the questions.
There are number of other questions that spring to mind?
1.) Why has Trump allowed the deportation of war vets that fought for the US?
2.) Does Trump recognize the status of legal refugees and recognize the difference between them and illegal aliens?
3.) Why does Trump/ICE discriminate against people of color in their raids? That is hate based.
4.) Why are ICE agents predominantly setup in states held by the Democrats? Surely there many illegal aliens in republican states too.
Don't get me wrong. I think ICE is deplorable but ICE itself isnt the problem. ICE is just a cruel tool used by Trump. Trump and his troop of KKK administration is the root cause. Fix the constitution that says that a person holding the office of president can't be prosecuted for breaking the law. Fix that one thing, make that irrevocable and one can now go after Trump and his band of white hoods. Trump has broken laws in the US and has certainly broken international law by Maduro 's capture. He is nothing but a criminal and should be treated like one.
Illegals have rights but they shouldn't be housed before citizens, in better lodging, with gift cards which can't be received by citizens when they weren't invited as guests. Too many people believe or have been led to believe that borders shouldn't exist but if ANYONE wants to know what other countries do, all they need to do is look online, using valid sources. The ones who believe all should come in probably haven't supported themselves in life or, as we can see daily, members of government or an elite group who has been in academia most of their lives, rather than working at a normal job, doing real world stuff, solving real world problems and experiencing real world failures, rather than built-in job security. When someone doesn't need to compete, they become so complacent that they develop all kinds of goofy ideas about how things should be or would, if we lived in some kind of utopia and as we all SHOULD know, utopias don't exist and man-made versions don't work.
I have watched interviews with students and others who are protesting many issues and one thing that strikes me- they don't know the details and when something bad is quoted, they think it was said by or was a policy from a person they dislike or hate. They're very confused when they find that it was from someone they like. I have heard some say that they understand that Socialism or Communism didn't work in other places, but maybe it could work here. That tells me they haven't had to compete or support themselves because in both of those, they would have little or no control over their lives, quality of life, money made through work, innovation or drive. The idea that under Communism, there's virtually no point in trying because personal property and intellectual property don't belong to the person. Obviously, things have changed since the USSR fell, but that's because Russia, China, NK and all other Communist countries have adopted commerce between countries and Capitalism to varying degrees. Whether it's done using oligarchs or the government ownership of all utilities, natural resources, production and distribution, someone is making a helluva lot of money.

#1- not sure, haven't seen his comments about them.
#2- Look at the actual rules and laws regarding refugee status and then, look at where many immigrants came from- the official requirement is for them to request asylum in an adjacent country, not one they choose and is a great distance from their homes.
#3- Look at the countries of origin for the answer. There ARE lighter skinned people, but they aren't coming in the huge numbers. The common thing about most immigrants, especially illegal- their governments are almost always oppressive and opportunities aren't conducive to the maintaning a decent life, or the improvement of their lives..Otherwise, why would they want to leave?
#4- Democratic states have designated some areas as sanctuaries, even if doing that is illegal according to Article VI.
People like to decide whether they like or will obey some laws- whether they like them is immaterial, it's the law. If enough people decide they don't want this or these laws, they would normally tell their representatives and debate in Congress would occur, with or without the results those disgruntled people want.
Stop the name calling. ICE IS NOT the same as the KKK, Nazis, etc.
If the countries where life is so bad that immigrants can't live free, where there's no hope of a decent life, they have no food, water, housing or a way of getting them- why is the rest of the world NOT pressuring the leaders of those countries to do SOMETHING for the people? Note that in most of those countries, the leader is a dictator or is involved in gangs or cartels.
