I am large people, and I know I don't fit in smaller cars. Why can't you accept that? I've sat in smaller cars, I've driven smaller cars. They are uncomfortable because my long legs force my feet to bend back when driving at makes my ankles hurt after a while. So I would be correct in assuming you thought a smaller car can't fit large people, and that a small car can't fit as much stuff? I've had 6'7" people in my hatch, and with the rear seats folded down, it can hold more stuff then a 4 door sedan, thanks to it's hatchback.
That's fine, but you're failing to see that calling the car I drive a weed wacker as an insult. It clearly isn't a weed wacker, and from what I've said, and you've admitted, that the cars from the factory, are quicker then your car. If you're fine with that great, but realize that people will get offended when you say something like that. I'm not one to judge, I do it all the time, but I'm also prepared to deal with people getting upset. You seem to think you've been playing nice.
It's not stock on my exact car, but it was an option on the Japanese and European versions. Swapping everything over to make the SiR engine work is still compliant with factory specifications, it's a straight bolt in. My current Engine is bagged from previous owners, and the Clutch, and transmission need overhauls.
Many refers to most. Most streetable 10 sec and slower Honda's are using factory Honda engine components mixed with some forged aftermarket parts and fuel management (some even faster). Also, a 4.6 liter running 12 is not that impressive. With less then half the displacement, Honda's run the same time. Just pointing out the perspective.
The fact the engine can get more air is where it will make the power. Small changes with temperature are not going to be large enough to make a perceivable difference. You'd be better off doing what everyone else does, run your car in the mornings when the air is significantly colder (race applications, who cares on the road) or at night. If it wasn't for the weather, drag cars would have their fastest times during this season.
I'm not harassing your for your preferences, but I am using it to get back at your for insulting my car. If you want me to stop, don't insult me.

A 2 ton car with a 4.6L running 12s N/A isn't impressive? Wow. There is a bias here I will never be able to crack. With less than half the displacement, and you forgot less than half the size. So by your logic, those cars aren't impressive either.
Again, you are assuming and taking things out of context. I said SOUNDS like a weed eater. Even the awesome Ariel Atom sounds like one. That is a fantastic machine, more of a work of art really, but it still sounds like a weed eater.
Not every V8 lover hates little engines. You're really burning a bridge here because I am always one to step up against fellow V8 owners when they put down smaller cars with uninformed bias. I just prefer the sound of mine over yours. Lighten up.
