Decided to paint the wall grey. Painting will probably start this weekend. My first time doing it. I bought some mixed flat grey paint at Home Depot last week. Will post pics when I start.✌Need to get some brushes, roller attachment, painters tape and paint tray. Any other suggestions?

Worth looking at some beginner painter videos I expect. I got a decent brush to cut in edges and basically gave up on a lot of time spent using painters tape. Cutting in baseboards and ceilings is a little more precision work, but really helps things go a lot quicker in the long run.
Don't forget a drop cloth or two to protect the flooring.

✌‍A couple of pics from yesterday. I did three coats of grey paint. I waited an hour between each one. Not doing this before I thought it came out good. I'll post the ending results this weekend.

I'm a bit sad that the Optoma 1080p PJ doesn't have 3D playback. Weird that they omitted it. I know the others Optoma they sold after had 3D. Glad I didn't sell the other Acer 720 3D PJ I have. The picture is amazing on the Optoma, so can't complain. Like I said hopefully in a couple of years I can upgrade to 4K with 3D.

Another tempting deal...
Yes, the refurb BenQ models on eBay have been a real bargain, and the included 2-year warranty is better than what BenQ offers on brand new models. It makes a lot of sense for those just trying to get into front projection and wanting a decent entry level 4K product.

I see the Benq HT3560 refurbish on ebay for less than $1000. Are there any others worth looking at under $1500? If I'm going to spend close to $1500, I'd just keep any eye out for an Epson 5050bu. Thoughts?

Depends on what you're doing with the projector itself. Gaming is always best with DLP. But, for movie watching, the 5050UB remains a top projector out there.
The 3560... I personally wouldn't get it as I'm not very trusting of the .47" DLP chip. The X500i, TK710, and X3100i all use the newer .65" DLP chip, which I think has a better track record, though I've heard of some issues with the HT4550i which uses that chip. So, I'm not sure if the stuck mirrors issue is still an issue with the 1080p chips across the board or not.

Anyway, the price certainly isn't bad on the 3560, as long as your screen is 120" or smaller. It struggles with larger screens. The TK700 is also often out there as a refurb for under $1,000.
