Enjoyed a week up in the Adirondack's recently. Rode the Adirondack Scenic RR from Thendara to Tupper Lake and back. It brought back memories from '65 , when as a young lad I rode the last NYC passenger train to Tupper Lake.

Hey @Mikado463, I assume you traveled on the Swiss railway network during your trip last year. What did you think of it? I don't have a lot of experience as a train passenger, but I was quite impressed with its efficiency.

With my affinity for timepieces, I also enjoyed watching the station clocks function.

Yes, incredibly efficient and clean. With a little extra time to kill while in Zurich we took a day trip to Airolo which afforded me the opportunity to go through the famous Goddard Pass. We enjoyed lunch outside while starring up at the beautiful Swiss Alps.

I considered getting a Mondaine "Stop2go" model, but at more than twice the price of one of their regular quartz models, I decided against it.

Very nice, my brother has gramps. Of note, my grandfather never owned a light meter, he was meticulous with taking notes on every shot and thus developed a keen sense of exposure.
