Waiting on pre-ordered Emotiva XMC-1 for theater then the UMC-1 moves to the bedroom.
Also thinking about getting seven Emotiva XPA-1 amps or mixing up with some UPA-1 amps for the rears (if I can sneak the money).

Okay, that's it!! You're bringin' that equipment to OREGON, and no more screwin' around. Get out here.

Your theater looks wonderful (!!!), but would be SOOOO much better surrounded by trees and mountains rather than swamps and bugs. :D

Great job, Dave. (Where'd you get the Sentinel?)

He's coming. Loserwife will make sure. :D I hear she hates palmetto bugs. Imagine...bird sized bugs flying around your head on a lovely summer evening. Nice. ;)

Majorloser...we'll save some salmon and steelhead for ya, too.

That's an impressive list you got there! How do you have the three subs hooked up?

Very nice, I like the smaller shelves your are using for all the displays, I might have to change mine now.:) And the rope lighting is a nice touch, I might have to get some of that too.

I bought a 150 foot roll of industrial rope light. It's 3 times the wattage of regular rope which is why it's so bright. You cut it to length and terminate with special connectors. They are also tied into an outlet that is controlled by the Lutron IR light control system.

Room treatments pending?

Accoustic.......maybe a little.

Decor.......BUTT LOADS MORE!

The carpet on the back wall helps out bunches. The front wall surrounding the screen is heavy black curtains (including top and bottom). I picked up one side reflection point with the black curtain covering the window. The other side reflection point is the entrance where the shelf is located. Could use a couple of bass traps in the front and maybe something on the ceiling (which I made a tray to break up corners). I was thinking about making my own fabric panel for the ceiling with fiber optic stars. Here's an example:

I want more pictures and movie props more than "perfect" sound.

I too have a Reference 30. Did you think the upgrade was worth it? I run my theater in with four or five channels plus the subs. My thought was that the upgrade was best for going to 7 channel but I may be wrong. Nice gear, great room.

Where did you get the 35mm film reels and can? I can't find them anywhere.

The two reel on the back wall are 35mm and have an actual movie trailer strung between them (Point Break). In the front right corner is a Columbia Pictures 35mm film can that I believe is from around the WW2 era. Columbia Pictures is stamped into the metal. On the left front wall is a 70mm reel and case. You'll notice it's mark as "reel #3" from Return of the Jedi. It's huge, about 30" across. I originally was going to make it into a table but original 70mm reels are so damn hard to find. And that one was from SW-ROTJ.

I picked them all up on Ebay. Just search for Goldberg reels. Goldberg is the OEM for movie reels. I've only came across the 70mm reel once.
