Well I mounted my Pany last night and ran my first movie thru it. and I have to say, I like what I saw just using the factory presets. I loaded in "The Golden Compass" in blue ray and set it at 1080P 24fps the audio kicked on full DTS Master Audio 7.1 <---:eek: The Image and sound took my breath away!!! my wife walked in right when I turned the lights off and she said Ohhhhhhh Myyyyyyyy Goshhhhhhhh. Here is a screen shot from the movie Spiderwick on blueray using the factory Cinema mode 1.

Okay except for one thing ...

I'm all over the Bottlecaps! I loved those as a kid.

To really be a first class movie theater you need the rolls of Neccos candy

Update

Okay I did a few more thing this weekend.

1. Installed the LED scrolling sign over the entry door. I can program it with movies times ect.

2. Finished installing all the red rope lighting and hanging up all the side and rear surrounds.

3. Installed an arcade system in the "Concessions room" Gauntlet Legends classic arcade game and one of my fav.

4. Last but not least watched one of my fav movies "Talladega Nights"

Serious thumbs way up...I thoroughly love seeing the entire picture history when someone shares a labor of love such as this one!!! I am green with jealousy, hopefully someday I can build my dream theater room as you have done here!!! I love the candy counter!!!

Thanks!! I think I might have made my screen too big!!!

come to think of it, i dont think the candy bar will work for me. i wouldn't be able to keep it stocked long enough :)

Great job on the Theater David:cool:, how is the nausea situation? I’m guessing it is the screen size. I had one problem when my PJ and 106” screen were in a Family Room and I was sitting 12’ away. It only happened once with LOTR/ROTK. Now in a dedicated room, I am still using a 106” screen but I’m 14-15’ away and no issues.
