Holy freakin crap, why can't I get this thing delivered? The FedEx truck pulled up to my house, paused briefly and then took off.

I called them and they said he entered an exception of "wrong house number". My house number is right in front and about 12"L x 24" W numbers!

She said she would re-route him back here. I may punch his lights out.

I have had a heck of an issue with the shipping of my sub. It has spent a week traveling around the country so lets just hope it makes it safely.

Somehow it was shipped from CA to NJ and sat with a delivery exception of "unknown address" for a couple of days before I figured it out. It was finally rerouted to Texas and shows "out for delivery" right now.

You guys will not be excited, like I said, it is a basic consumer level sub but that's the direction I wanted to go. The second one will not be coming until I return from the honeymoon.

Is FedEx always this bad? I have never had an issue with UPS but I understand a lot of you have.

I mean, this thing was shipped out on the 15th of this month and should have been here in 3 or 4 days. I have no idea how it ended up in NJ for 2 days and I don't understand how the driver couldn't see my house number.

I just called them back and the CS said the only thing she could tell me was that the driver said he would try to make it back by here later on.

It's 80 degrees and I could be drinking a beer by the pool since I am missing work to wait for the stupid driver.

I could do my reports for work but I was all frustrated earlier and my laptop was acting up so I punched it and broke the screen.

Crap, its a bad day.

Here is the laptop. It kind of looks like a pretty screen saver of a snowy mountain but it's not.

I am really pissed. I wasn't even going to drink tonight because I have a scheduled work out in the morning. Now Carolyn wants me to go to some happy hour with her friends so I guess I will drink.

After 3 calls to FedEx, the first 2 said they would deliver today,

The 3rd one said, they MAY can hold it at the local branch on Monday.

Nope, they said they are closed today.

They can't promise that it will be held on Monday as they said it may already be loaded and in transit before they check the system that shows to hold it at facility.

I probably get 3 packages/week from FedEx so yes, they know where I live.

Its funny to me, that they can't explain why a re-delivery wasn't attempted yesterday even tough I was told twice that they wold.

What's the chance of this thing even being in one piece after being in transit for 2 weeks?

The driver knew the weight of the delivery, and is not working on monday, so therefore he won't have to deal with whatever it is that you bought because he's a lazy bastage....

I really do have the little Velo from my office in there now. It does a good job of adding some extension as long as the volume is low to moderate.

This whole mess reminds me of why I prefer to buy at the local B&M stores. I ended up saving 3k or so but I am not sure it is worth it.
