Marantz Project D1 vs. SA-7S1 or CD-7

Hello. I'm a new member. I would like to know if, in your opinion, the Marantz Project D1 is competitive with today's top digital systems. Especially the Marantz SA-7S1 or your CD-7. I own an SA-7S1. Thank you very much.
