I haven't watched Tulsa King yet. I watched first season of Mayor of Kingstown and thought it was alright. Bass Reeves was a good show. Short, but good. They're moving very slow on getting the second season of 1923 out. It shouldn't take this long to get a show out like that. All the stars said they would come back and were ready to go. So not sure what the hold up is.

Looking forward to seeing where they take Yellowstone. We're only getting 6 episodes. My gut is telling me that Matthew McConaughey is going to make an appearance in the final episode. Since all the rumors were saying they were bringing him in to continue the series but go in a different direction (story-wise). Is that what The Madison is going to be?

Now that I have the 4k of Wind River, I will be watching that very soon. :)
Always sad to see an awesome show like Yellowstone end, but looking forward to The Madison and everything Taylor Sheridan creates.

I am up to date on “Landman”. Another great show for me.

And watch Wind River already. It’s an awesome movie. :D

I finally watched Wind River last Friday. Was a great movie. It was a Taylor Sheridan cast reunion! haha

People from Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown and other all making an appearance. Though, this was made in 2017, so well before the shows came out. Still fun to see that Sheridan enjoys working with the same people and those people like working with Sheridan.

The ending of the movie was well worth the wait! I won't give away anything, just in case others on here haven't seen it yet.

Grain belt fan! Grain belt is a solid beer. I'm a Leinenkugel fan. Since I'm from WI, I will support the local beer. Even though it's owned by Miller, I'll still support them. :)
For “normal” beer, I do like grain belt premium for sure. Also had a few leinies in my day lol. I try to support local, but our hometown breweries just seem to miss the mark. Not a lot, but beer is expensive and I wanna get what I want so. Surly used get some money from me, but they’ve gone meh, and I heard some negative things about them internally. Fulton is good, but not exceptional. Castle danger up in Duluth is solid. One of my favorites is in big lake mn, and maybe my number one is in Decatur Iowa. Yeah, Iowa…who knew. Lol

What's everyone's thoughts on the this latest episode of Lioness? Do you think the issues between Joe and her husband Neal is kind of being forced? Do you think Neal was in the right? I get why Neal is upset, but personally I think he went a little bit too much. Would be curious to hear what others thoughts are on this latest episode.

He was just understandably pissed. I would be. If my wife almost died and just coming out of surgery, no way I’d want her back into the line of fire. I’d be 100% pissed off.

Wait what? Lioness S02E08 was intense as heck and awesome, but I didn’t realize it was the season finale!

We watched Lioness and Landman this last weekend. Waiting for Yellowstone S05 to finish first before we start watching. :D

Yeah, unfortunately it was the season finale. They are stuck on this 8 episode crap. I say if the story allows, go to 10.

This Sunday's episode of Yellowstone wasn't as exciting as the previous weeks episode. I really want to know how the story would've ended if Kevin Costner had stuck it out. Sheridan is having too much fun writing, directing and staring in his own shows. As evidence of that in Sunday's episode. This was a very heavy Beth episode. Clearly they used this episode to wrangle the entire cast of characters together for one last rodeo before all hell breaks loose. I have a hard time believing that Beth or others around her did not figure out what Casey had mentioned at the end of the episode. Seems like that would've been something any estate attorney or accountant could've advised them on. Haha :)

Beth Dutton's character can only go so far. I'm not sure her and Rips characters can have a huge draw. All Beth does is drink, smoke and talk a lot of sh*t. Will that be a huge draw for the Yellowstone fans? This last episode of Yellowstone, was probably the weakest one of this part B of season 5. Having Beth Dutton front and center for most of the episode was boring. Sheridan has made her 1 dimensional. She provides nothing of substance for the show. I enjoyed her character arch in the first couple of seasons, but by the 4th season, it was just getting repetitive and annoying.

Just my two cents. :)

I have complete faith that Taylor Sheridan will find a way to make this new show awesome!!! :D

So, what are everyone's thoughts on the series finale of Yellowstone? Did you enjoy it? dislike it? mixed feelings?

I thought it was ok. I would love to know if some events in this last episode were part of the original ending Sheridan had in mind if Costner was still in it. Or was this completely new, when he decided not to come back.

I finished the Yellowstone series. Last 5 episodes post-Costner weren’t as good as before. But they did what they could to save it.

I still liked it. But just not the same Yellowstone quality.

I don't get the Casey narrative. He wanted nothing to do with the ranch, but then ended up taking over a large chunk of his families land to start his own ranch? Am I missing something here? Was it just because he wanted to start something that was his and not just take over the family ranch? I didn't really enjoy Casey's story arch, he went full "anti-Dutton" this entire B season. Only cool part was when he tracked down the hitman. Otherwise they made Casey's character very weak.

I don't get why Casey would give the main ranch to the natives. He should've kept that part with 1000 acres to preserve his families history. Even if he didn't want to live there, he could've left it for Rip, Beth, his son or others to use if they wanted. I hated seeing it being torn down. That part I did not like at all. The Natives would've still had over 400k acres in the deal. So that part was frustrating. Even if Casey was worried about the tax implications on the main ranch, he could've just gifted it to Beth or sold it to her for pennies. Either way, it should not have been torn down.

I did enjoy the Elsa narration at the end. That was nice they brought her back in at the very end.

Now looking ahead, Beth and Rip have their new ranch. They are far away from society and seem happy. What is this potential new show with them going to cover? I think it's a stretch, even for Sheridan. I personally don't think it should be a show. End it like it is and don't continue.

Sheridan needs to focus on 1923 season 3, Season 2 of Landman and season 3 of Lioness. Leave the Yellowstone stuff for another 5-7 years and focus on other material. :)

Definitely not how I would have ended Yellowstone either.
