I'm really liking this Landman show. Only "issue" I'm having so far is the daughter. I'm not sure what Sheridan was thinking when writing for this daughter or the overall arch of her character. She's the same actress from 1923. I don't know if Sheridan wrote her character in at the last minute or what. But, I highly doubt a daughter would ever say the crap that comes out of her mouth to her father. Two episodes in and everything surrounding the daughter is sex related. She's 17 years old surrounded by old guys and she walks around in skimpy outfits around her dad. Hahaha. Of course as a viewer, she's great to look at, but just thinking of how her character is supposed to push the story forward, I'm not seeing it. Haha!
Besides the daughter issue, Billy Bob was perfect for the lead in this show. A true Texas man. Billy Bob plays this role like it's very natural for him. Like he could actually be this guy and do this job. Shows you how great an actor he really is.
Looking forward to more episodes!
