The way you have it placed right now is for sure less than optimal. Try what I suggested above and let us know the results.

BTW I did crank up the db's under the denon to +8, helped a little

And pull it forward too! You're getting ugly reflections from the stand. The further forward you can pull it the better. I even have mine hanging over the edge just a little bit.

Pogre... just like most things, there is definitely a point of diminishing returns for wines.

Also I thought if you go dual you can do sealed as opposed to one Ported

two sb3000's will not give you the same low frequency extension as a single pb4000, if those are the only options I'd wait for the pb4000
