surround sound

i have purchased a logitech z607 surround sound speakers and have an asus strix soar sound card in my pc, but i cant get 5.1 surround sound. wondering what cables i needed for that to work.

From a look at the card's page, it's indicating output types display port, hdmi, dvi-i, dvi-d.....which your speakers do not accommodate, they need analog 5.1 input. Some sound cards have such analog output, don't see that for yours. Some cards have the ports in either rca or 3.5mm sizes and you'd use the appropriate rca cables (or 3.5mm to rca cables) to input to the dvd inputs on the speaker set. Do you have on your particular model of sound card the analog output?
