Good point. However, most of those speakers need up to 8" depth. If Jax has the room in the wall, then they might be a great option. I'm usually fitting into 3.5" walls.

With the product lines I'm dealing with, the back boxes cost almost as much as 2nd tier speakers by the time you ship them, plus they're ***** to cut into framing. Show up to a job and put one in front of a contractor..."That's gotta go where? Aww man..."

If Jax can build the walls around the purchased enclosures, then using them might be a good option. Budget, shmudget;)

Either way, there's lots of options available in this situation.
