Still looking for speakers.
Today I demo'd the Jamo I/O 3A2 speakers==>
LINK. They were pretty impressive. The highs were precise and tight, the bass was reasonably punchy for this size of speaker, aided by bass reflex architecture. The speakers have a very robust and unique mounting bracket. Overall, these are currently my front runners.
I also tried the Jamo 8A2, these are 8" whereas the 3A2 are 5.25" drivers. But the 3A2 sounded better, more precise. The 8A2 was a little muddy and.
Others I have auditioned in the past few weeks are Yamaha, JBL, Klipsch and Infinity. I didn't like the Yamahas or the JBLs at all. The Klipsch were pretty good, but not as good as the Jamo above, I would rate them 2nd. The Infinity 3rd.
Unfortunately, there are not very many places to audition outdoor speakers around here, so this has been going slower than I expected.
can anyone offer any opinions on the Jamo 3A2?
