I’m looking for a couple super low cost interior security cameras to put in a cottage so I can monitor it remotely, preferably with an iPhone App. I have WiFi and internet.

The reviews I’ve read online seem to be all over the map

I've had good luck with Amcrest cameras. Cheap and reliable.

Make sure to use a UPS for the cameras and network, in case the power goes out. Even if the internet connection is interrupted, they'll still record.

I know this is an older post, but I figured I’d chime in anyway in case it’s still helpful. We’ve got a small cottage up in the mountains, and I was in the same boat a while back, looking for security cameras. I ended up going with a couple that I can check remotely through an iPhone app. We’re only there a few times a year, so it’s been awesome to just check in whenever.

I came across this page about wireless security cameras and it helped me sort through features without spending too much. As long as your WiFi is solid, it’s pretty easy to set up and manage remotely.
