Suggestion for surround speakers for < $300

Hi guys,

I'm currently looking for a pair of surrounds that are < $300.

I use these mainly for HT %70 and Music %30. Room dimension is 23' W x 13' L x 9' H.
What are you guys suggestion for a good quality pair of surrounds for < $300 either new or used.

Right now, I'm looking at B&W DM302, DM601, Paradigm Mini, Studio 20.

Any help would be appreciated.

Right now, I'm looking at B&W DM302, DM601, Paradigm Mini, Studio 20.

I haven't heard those particular B&Ws play, but I'm certainly happy to vouch for the Studio 20 as a surround speaker.

I'm in southern Cali.

Currently, I have:
Main: Ascend CMT340-Classic.
Sub: HSU VTF3 - MK2.
Receiver: Marantz SR6001.

I'm gonna skip the center channel, since my fronts are only about 7' apart, and I can't move them any farther.

My room size is about 23' W x 14' L x 8' H.
I'm just gonna do 4.1 for now .

So, currently I'm looking at B&W DM302, DM601, Paradigm Mini, Titan, Studio 20.
What are you guys take on any of those? Any review for them? Which one is better in your opinion?

Go with those if you can. They are really good speakers.

While your at it you might get 3 and use one for a center. I like the distribution on it for a center.

ahh ive been trying to part with some av123 Xmtm towers and a center but shipping would put you over your price.

Continue your current line: AA HTM-200

This is your best advice. The best choice in surrounds is the one that matches your other speakers. It may not be as imperative as with the front stage, but that doesn't mean it still isn't best.
