Every time I see those mains I get chills man. They gotta sound out of this world I wish I was good at building things

Is it possible that you were overdriving the single sealed sub in your space? SVS products are well engineered, there's no reason that the SB1000 should have sounded less accurate.

I guess it's possible. Even so, that would still be even more of a reason i would prefer ported.

The sealed wasn't bad by any means, i just couldn't get out of it what i needed. The ported gives me that extra 'oomph' that it was missing, without any loss in accuracy or speed to my ears.
