Subs to atmos channels

Evening!

I have extra subs, but this install requires quite a bit of effort. Is it worth adding a subwoofer to atmos speakers allowing them to be completely full range. Any one try this?

Thanks!

Adding a subwoofer to Atmos speakers can enhance low-end frequencies and improve overall sound.

It’s worth considering if you want deeper bass and a fuller range, but keep in mind it may require fine-tuning your setup. Some users report great results, but it depends on your room and audio preferences. 7 brew

Hope! it will be helpful.

When a smaller Atmos speaker is present using a high crossover, the lower frequencies will be sent to any subwoofers connected to the sub pre outs of a given AVP/AVR along with the signals in the LFE channel.

If one is connecting multiple subwoofers to an AVP/AVR using speaker terminals or pre outs to Line In ports and setting all channels in the AVP/AVR to Large/Full Band, the subwoofers had better be equipped with HPF or the full range signal will be passed along to any speaker connected through it and lesser speakers will be damaged.

Yes, that is a total waste of time and won't work. The crossover will direct the bass of you ceiling speakers to the sub. Your idea is a total non starter.
