Hello, I have a Cambridge AVR and one of the sub pre-outs is bad. I have been trying to find something on the web that would help me in trying to repair the unit. I cannot find any kind of repair tutorial. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thank you

Start with the specific model? If you still have a sub pre-out you can just use a y-splitter to feed subs....

It is the CXR-200. Yes there is a second sub pre-out, which I am using. Just curious if there is a way to get working properly.

It could be something as trivial as a loose connection. Could be a solder joint. Could be something far more serious requiring replacing a board.
How long have you had this device? Doesn't look to be available any longer.

May need an AV repair specialist to identify the problem.

If you can't open it up and examine the connections/repair them yourself I somewhat doubt it's worth the expense of professional repair as a splitter is far cheaper....

ps There is a service manual available at hifiengine.com . I referred someone else there and he said he couldn't sign up, that new members weren't allowed.....if so, let me know and I'll download it for you and we can exchange via email....
