Stereo-only SACD Players. What's The Point?

People who purchase stuff like that probably live in mansions and drive Bugattis as well. They have money in abundance.
So the only point is that damn rich people do it because they feel like it and because they can, and we're jealous :D

Jealous? For the Most part, no. Sure,I watch YouTube videos of high end audio shows in Munich,Berlin,Brataslava,London, Stuttgart,, Singapore,Warsaw etc., and yes, there are some items that I see that I wouldn't mind owning(particularly the speakers), but,for the most part, this equipment is too freaky;like something out of of a mad scientist's laboratory,;too ugly and unfeasable for a normal home, with performance attributes that are either imaginary, or which only dogs can hear. And much of the high end audio "Philosophy" is devoted to a 1950's concept of High Fidelity. Vinyl records played on belt drive turntables through vacuum tube amplifiers.

I don't mean jealous of their electronics/equipment.

I mean jealous of their MONEY. :D
