Stereo Integrity HST 18" and HS 24"?

I was looking at either the HST 18" or HS 24". The 18" looks like the surround is torn where the screw holes are? Is that going to be a problem?

With the HS 24" what size box does it need if I wanted to tune it at 19hz?

I've seen references to Nick at SI saying that there is a specific type of washer to use which will protect the surround from tearing. Also, people that own them suggest hand tightening the screws to final position, not using a driver.

The HS24, if you read the information on the site, says:

Small 7 ft^3 sealed enclosure requirement

I have not tried modeling this Driver at all as I am currently unwilling to pay that much for a single Driver. I have seen people talk about using them, though, and saying that they perform very well. I cannot speak to their implementation, however.

Can the HS 24" do a ported enclosure as well tuned at 19hz?
