Star Trek Picard season 3

You can skip season 1 & 2, they aren’t bad but a bit campy. Season 3 is on a whole different level and possibly the greatest season of any Star Trek series ever plus it has the entire original cast. Seriously don’t miss this season and no apologies if you forget to sleep and binge the entire season in a sitting

Season 3 was decent but the female villian was lame and rechristening an old ship as the next Enterprise was ridiculous. Nothing of Kurtzman Trek comes close to DS9 or the best of TNG, Enterprise or Voyager. Lower Decks is the best Star Trek we have now,, IMO, despite it's a parody. It holds more true to Canon than Picard or SNW. Don't get me started on STD, the worst Trek series since animated 70s garbage.

I will concede that the final episode was pretty cheesy, especially including the original Enterprise. It felt like a, let’s throw in the kitchen sink episode.

On a side note a family member was the sound engineer for TNG

I grew up watching the original cast, and my ranking in order of my preference

1. Enterprise - I know this is controversial, I just like the origin story and who Xindi storyline. They totally ruined the season finale, worst ending of a series hands down. Trip is my favorite character across all series,
2. Original Star Trek: Kirk and Spock
3. Deep Space Nine: Best written out of the Trek shows, but casting sometimes questionable
4. Next Gen: I did not like Riker, rest of cast was really good
5. Lower Decks, sad that it is ending this year
6. Picard, found it's footing in the last season agree
7. Strange New Worlds (Except boy band Klingons), Favorite episode was the cross over with Lower Decks

Never watched more than an episode of Voyager or Discovery though 7 is tied for hotness with T'Pol

Yada yada yada! Enter-prise best of them All!! Yeah "I've got a Lot to say" Who can forget the female Vulcan. . No really though, I've watched them all every episode of all the Star Treks even all the movie spinoffs. Yes even the 60's pioneering original series on B/W tv. Tube/tipe.
Enterprise hands down. Can't say the last ES was great, loose ends. Canon is always great, but let's remember it's sci-fi.
