Speaker suggestion for under $3K part II

Last week I wrote in and asked for suggestions for speakers in a specific price range for our new house. I want to thank you all for your input. It was very helpful. I stopped by our local audio dealer last night that sells paradigm speakers and listened to the Paradigm Monitor 9's. I was very impressed with their sound. They are on sale now so I think I've made up my mind and will be going this route unless some one throws up a red flag. The price on the Monitor 9's was $799/pair, CC-290 $370, and the have last years model PS-1200 for $400. So for this whole shootn' match I come up with $1570 but that leaves out the rears.

I have a couple of questions for you guys though. How do these prices look? I can't find a lot on the web to compare them to.

Secondly does anyone have any experience with the ADP-390's. They are dipole which some people don't like. I am trying to decide between these and the Axiom QS-8's.

So, I haven't bought the paradigm's yet, but I'm leaning heavily that way. I know a guy that works there and he told me they had put the wrong price on the 9's and the center and soon as the owner finds out the price will probably be changing. I don't know if this was a sales pitch or actual.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and once again I would like to thank those who replied to my earlier post.

Let me translate this comment by 3dB:

1. Did you auditioned PSB G-Design???

2. Did you auditioned PSB Image (T65)???

If not, you should; especially the G-Design.

I love the Paradigm sound. I'll be going that route for my surround system hopefully this fall. At those prices they are about $100 off the suggested retail per speaker. I say if you like them go for it. Haven't heard either of the rear choices so I can't help there.
