Just purchased a pair of KEF Q300's and have been on the hunt for a good set of speaker stands. The speakers are black so I would prefer to also have black stands, and would also prefer to have rubber pads on the top plate as to not dig into the speakers.

I'd prefer the stands to have some sort of wire management system to hide the wires.

With a bit of browsing, I've found these 3:

Any experience with the above, or alternate suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

May I ask what speakers you have on them? The Q300's are 8.3" x 11.9" and come in at 17 pounds per speaker. Just want to make sure they hold up the same.

Thanks!
Sure no problem. I have these in a vertical orientation:

My A2.4's are 19.7' High X 7.1" Wide X 11.8' Deep and weigh in at 27 lbs. each. The stands are 24" High. I had to rotate the Planar Tweeters 90 degrees to use them as mains. My center is exactly the same, but in a horizontal orientation. BTW, the stands are very easy to put together too.

Cheers,

Phil

You can find better prices on the VTI stands if you shop around, or at least I have in the past. I like the parts-express stand, especially for the price among those you posted.

As lovinthehd stated, the parts express stands are a very good price for a pair and they hold up to 75lbs per speaker with the option to fill the post for stability and limit resonating...

While I prefer the VTI stand for build quality and style, the Parts Express one is a great bargain. Consider how much you spent on the Q300 speakers and if you spend too much on stands....those could have been Q500's. :)
