I have a kenwood sw-15ht and a blown speaker. I am wanting the specific speaker size to replace it with. It looks to me like an 8" but I'm not entirely sure. Am I right or is it smaller is it bigger please help.

To make it work properly you would need to use exact same driver as it has now. Changing to same size random driver wont sound correct as they are not designed for that specific box. Get the same driver or it is time for new sub.

Got a glimpse of a service manual (many people selling them for this for some reason), it's a 200mm/8" driver. Doesn't mean just any driver of the same diameter will work the same in that box, tho....

Thanks for the information and I plan on making a new tuned box for a new speaker but because of the space and location it has to stay within the parameters of the old box and speaker size that's why I was asking.
