I didn't see the comment above the quote. For a second, I thought you were talking to yourself.

What is a blue chicklet for- to report a post?
I believe it's an attempt at a red chicklet from a newbie who doesn't have enough rep to inflict any harm.

When somebody with no rep give you rep with the scales it is neither red or green and doesn't affect your total number of points so the color of the chicklet is blue. They can still leave you a comment though and that might hurt your feelings.

sometimes mark does talk to himself but don't tell him i said so. i'm hoping he can't read small print. they say he's real old. :)

I've been getting a whole bunch of red ones lately signed

Now, may I ask what you found so offensive, misleading or incorrect here that would cause you feel this was warranted?
How do you know it was neg rep if the chicklet was blue? I have had a member give me pos rep but because he was so close to the foul red zone his chicklet was blue. It was Spkr Bldr before he took a serious plummet into the double red zone.

What did the comment say?

It doesn't work like that. You can't leave rep for somebody with great frequency. For example, had I given you any rep recently I would not be able to give you any now and if you got a bunch of red ones from me you wouldn't have that many green ones. ;) :D

monoprice

I had heard or read somewhere the monoprice had a problem with their HDMI cables. I could be wrong though. The Bluejeans cables are only $15-$18 for a 3 foot run, which is all I really need. I'll check Monoprice though. Thanks for the tip

How long are your runs. If its 15ft or less go with the cheap HDMI cables from monoprice.com

You can always ask the BJC folks what they recommend. I imagine they are honest. The owner posts here from time to time.

There was no comment. It was simply blank. Ergo, my suspion that it wasn't meant in a complimentary manner.

I think you're wrong on that. Leaving neg rep requires a comment if I'm not mistaken. Last time I left some for Shock ~~ it was required. j/k. I'm not 100% on this.

Highfigh, you can do a search for rep, points, thanks, scales etc. to get that points thing figured out. I can't type all that out. Or just start a thread in the vent or jack this one. There can't be much more to say that is on topic and relevant. Or call me.

Recommendation?

Ok guys, after my cable test proved that my Audioquest cables aren't much better than cheapo Monster wire I had, I'm thinking about selling my Audioquest cables and picking up some speaker wire with the ends terminated from Blue Jeans.

I'm looking to Bi-Wire my 802's, so the question is, should I buy their Quad strand 14 gauge and have it made into a bi-wire.

or....

should I purchase either 12 gauge or 10 gauge cables and make 2 runs from my Amp? One run with spades on the Amp end and the other with bananas?

I have room for both and while one wire would be optimum, SQ is more important to me than having one wire.

Please let me know what you think my best option is....

Thanks!

I just got three 6' HDMI cables from Monoprice and have no problem passing 1080p at all. They work great and were less than $10 a piece.

I just got comment-less pos rep which I hate but will take because I'm a point whore but to leave neg rep for somebody I believe you have to leave a comment. Not that I need to find out. I would like to return the favor you mischievous prick. :D

14-12 gauge is good enough..10guage is over kill, but looks nice..I have 10guage white/blue wiring for my BA2s and they look reallly nice..

Unless your doing really long runs, Just go with 14/12, not going to be much of a diff, more of personal preferences..

You mean after about a 1000 responses;) no one answered your question?:D

Any and all three options will work equally as far as audible differences go:D.

So, no reason besides looks to spend a lot on wire, single run or some form of dual run.

Never got any opinions on this:

I'm looking to Bi-Wire my 802's,
My opinion/advice is to not waste your time and money on something that won't get you an improvement in sound quality. Should you insist on going that route anyway, my opinion is to get some cable that matches the drapes but contrasts with the rug. I find that criteria to be paramount when bi-wiring. :D

Man, it's just not gonna matter how you bi-wire. That's what I've gathered from this forum. ;) :)

BTW, who ever is leaving negative feedback for Alex ...
Pos feedback stands for positive feedback, not piece of s**t ... :)
You'd be a Samurai too if you had been out of work for 5 months.
You have nice stuff, hook it up with something, anything and enjoy. :)

Alex,

Ouch!!! 5 months you've been out of work? You might make Overlord soon like Mrty :)

What type of work do you/did you do? I'm in the recruiting and consulting business, don't mean to be nosy...
