A thought suddenly occurred to me: Maybe the moderator called me an asshole and suspended me for a week because he didn't see that what I was reporting as spam was indeed spam?

I reported it in this very thread by mentioning that particular account not just once but twice, only to see that you moderators didn't even bother to look.

If that's not good enough for you, then it's obvious that Steve was right and the moderators just don't care.

There is a report button for a reason. We can't watch all threads as a moderator so the reporting feature is the mechanism to get all mods attention.
