If I buy a Bryston, Krell, Mark Levinson, McIntosh, Anthem, etc., I do it because I like that Name Brand, Aesthetics, Reputation, and or Warranty (Bryston's 20 yr), etc.

But I won't tell anyone that it absolutely sounds better than any other amp with similar specs.

Hard to believe!

Yes things in the consumer marketplace is hard to believe

But, what you suggested has been tested under bias controlled conditions, a must. Class A is overblown/overrated. as the difference is just not audible, period. Same for damping, etc.
If it mattered, these effects would certainly show up under bias controlled conditions, the gold standard. Anything less, is just unreliable and not worth discussing.

Yes, it is a singular reality; I think I may have mentioned that too someplace. That singularity cannot be ascribed to anyone else. What a world would we have is that were universal with everyone and everything. Nothing would have any meaning and everything would be chaos
