Yep. It's a good thing sound travels in rays rather than in waves. Waves wouldn't be affected at all until the obstacle hit baffle size.

It's also a good thing that, when they do interact with a physical object, they don't reflect like waves but rather flow around like particles.

The guy has direction indicators on his wires. Need I say more.
