Just picked up a new truck equipped with a Sony CDX-M630. The system works fine on the remote; however, the manual panel when opened has no power and none of the manual keys function. CD's will not eject on manual or remote. When I turn the system off on the remote, it locks out and I have to manually reset to get the tuner back on. I pulled the system out of the dash and found one wire which is stripped at the end and may have pulled out from the twist connector; however, I've no idea where it goes. Sony tech service was not much help. The wire is solid blue....not really sure if this is the problem or not but don't want to chance hooking it to someting it should not be.....any ideas where this blue wire (from back of the unit) belongs???

I'm not exactly an expert on car stereos but usually the blue wire is the 12V constant wire and is used for things like power antennas so they go up when the ignition switch is on Acc or On. You should be able to eject a CD when the ignition switch is On so that could very well be the problem.

Your fuse box may be labeled to specify which one is constant 12V.
