OK, I guess the phone app could be used to turn it off in case the user leaves the building, but if it's only heating while the timer allows it, is it really risky, especially since it doesn't have hot oil inside?
I believe that those privacy issues are mainly connected to info supplied while registering for a product and some advertising.
As suggested by Malwarebytes, we should all limit our email and home address info to known well established businesses (stores, websites etc)
