I hadn't noticed myself. It was a helluva world series down to the last inning! Was pulling for the BlueJays myself....

The last game was epic. A blowout by either team would have been boring. Halfway through the season, nobody expected much from the BlueJays. Yet, they pulled themselves together, and along with some key team management moves, made them legit contenders for the crown.

It's hard to fathom that Trey Yesavage started the season playing Single-A and only played his first MLB game in September.

I firmly believe that he was THE difference in the series.
MVP no doubt.

The 18 inning game was pretty interesting and tense, and they were warming up Yamamoto again!! Running out of pitchers on both sides. But that game 7 was incredible. Probably one of the best games I've ever watched.

I noticed the 51 on their hats and only on the pitchers, and was wondering what it was.

That broken bat was a real heart breaker at the end. Seriously, of all times for the bat to break! Could have been a whole other ball game otherwise. Agree with pitching. We saw some amazing performances that series, from all positions. One of the best finals in a while.
