Scrap yards don't care about coax, they only pay well for wire and cable that has a lot of metal in it. I took a box to a local yard that has scraps from several AV jobs and walked away with over $100, one time. That was around 2007, when China was hoarding the world's scrap metals while they were building for the 2008 Olympics.Thanks but I jettisoned them when I moved. Didn't really know about the scrap value. Still have some Monster Interlink 100 and 300 as well as a sub cable in storage. Probably will never use them again but I have some spare interconnects if I ever need them. All in all decent but overpriced kinda like my entry level AQ cables now. But at least the AQs are newer.
