I've had enough of this. They're forecasting another few inches of snow tonight, and a couple more tomorrow... Last Friday it was 50 degrees and sunny, now it's 25 and snowing. I'm in need of some spring weather already!

I can relate. Just stepped outside. Minus 3 Celsius currently. Took a quick snap off my balcony, still a fair amount of snow out there

Didn't it just snow up there in Edmonton also? My wife is from the Edmonton area and I think she said her family said it's been snowing up there too, here and there.

Ya, it was just snowing pretty hard a day or two ago but it's let up now. Was really nice the week before just like you described as well. Looks like we're weather buddies.

You guys get much colder than we do. I'm 1500 miles away (primarily East, but quite a bit South), surrounded by Lake Superior. The lake doesn't freeze over, so it moderates our temperatures throughout the winter, as well as summer. But, as a side effect, we get tons of lake effect snow.

I'd rather have lots of snow, than temps you guys got. I was up there over my Christmas break. The week of/just after Christmas, it was (-20) - (-35)C everyday. That's crazy, you're crazy for living there!:D

It's really not that bad, you just need to learn to dress for it :p either that or I'm crazy and I've just gotten used to it.

I lived in Augusta, GA for about a year. I'm so glad I don't live in hot weather. I couldn't get used to it. Cold>hot :)

I'll take hot over cold. 32 degrees is freezing.
Benedict Lake yesterday.

Snow in forecast for most days this week! Ice over 3 ft deep still.

Any bets whether those docks and lifts will go in May 6 as scheduled?

With all the family stuff going on I have had very little sleep and a lot of stress. I was up for 36 hours when we were relieved from our "shift" yesterday at 5 pm. I drove an hour back to our house and loaded up my bike and drove another hour to my favorite trail. The views reminded me of how great God is and all my stress was relived after 2 hours of beautiful singletrack.

Nice bike! I'm looking forward to getting out on the trails myself. May just have to wait another month, haha. Glad to hear you're stress free for the moment. It's the small thing sometimes, isn't it?

We're forecasted for snow only tonight. It's supposed to warm up to mid 30's for the rest of this week. I just got done skiing and seen quite a few shacks still out on Portage Lake here. How close is Benedict to Bemidji? My school plays Bemidji in hockey

Last year this time, with the crappy winter and all, the mountain biking trails were open as well as the golf course. I almost brought my clubs home over Christmas break, but decided otherwise in case it warmed up before school lets out. It might warm up, but it'll just make the entire course a swamp with the amount of snow on it that needs to melt.:(

Been snowing off and on in the mtn. in Utah. Great for Spring boarding. I've yet to snowboard and Mt. bike in the same day, but maybe this saturday, would be a good day to do it.

Benedict Lake is exactly 27 miles from Bemidji. That is our closest major center.

Man, I would love to Board and ride in the same day. I haven't been on my Board in 6 years but I would still give it a rip if I had the chance.

It kind of sucks as I bought a new pair of boots right before my last trip and used them once. What size is your feet?

It'd be so muddy here if I tried to ski/bike in the same day. The trails will probably be muddy until May, if not June. There's still about 2 feet of snow, in the woods under tree cover. No way I'm going to get another day of riding in here before I graduate :(.

They are size 11, or a really big 10 1/2, if completly packed out.
