You guys get much colder than we do. I'm 1500 miles away (primarily East, but quite a bit South), surrounded by Lake Superior. The lake doesn't freeze over, so it moderates our temperatures throughout the winter, as well as summer. But, as a side effect, we get tons of lake effect snow.

I'd rather have lots of snow, than temps you guys got. I was up there over my Christmas break. The week of/just after Christmas, it was (-20) - (-35)C everyday. That's crazy, you're crazy for living there!
