Ah, that's CCA, or copper-clad aluminum. That's why the Monoprice wire costs more - it's 100% copper. The wire you bought is like 90% aluminum. Copper is much more expensive than aluminum and is a much better conductor. I would not use CCA for my speakers. You probably won't be able to tell the difference though.

The HDMI-DVI cable should work fine.
Thanks so much, it should arrive tomorrow.

System sounds great in 3.1 that it is now; bass is way to loud, but I imagine that has to do with the fact I can't adjust the settings lol.

But other than that...I'm hearing details I never heard before...even in my living rooms Stereo system, those Bostons 3.1 setup, I'm hearing new details and such...impressive.

Center sounds off, but once again, have to adjust these things. Guess I can be happy with these, though they're so much smaller than my old ones...but they do seem to have better mids and lows in general. A actual tweeter as well, instead of another driver.

Thanks.

Oh, funny part, I will probably take a picture later, but the Logitech sub I had, must have been like 4 inch.

Cause you could easily fit 4 of the X-530 subs in the Velodyne VX-11. I never realized it was so small til I put them next to each other lol.

So after much research, it seems the 30$ mounts I bought work with the Take Classic, but not the RC Micro.

Not unless I modify them and buy custom screws at Home depot.

Le sigh.

HMm, ok.

I have some questions, I can't run Auddessy until that cable gets here; but...

All I can get is Multi Channel Stereo. I don't see a Surround Mode here.

They are Sats and I hear Crossover for these is recommended 120HZ? I tried both 80 HZ & 120HZ and didn't really notice a difference. Thanks.

Is there any way to get them into Surround Mode?

Stereo is good and all for music, but for the games that make use of 5.1, it's not.

I get modes like "Jazz, Rock, Video Game, Matrix, Virtual"

Matrix sounds...OK, but not like real 5.1 surround sound, Virtual just isn't good at all.

Video Game...has limited uses. At times, it sounds amazing. For example, I was watching Diablo III's cinematics with it on..and wow. It was like I was in a giant theater. I got chills.

During ACTUAL gameplay though...another story. Adds so much echo, it's like you're in a cave everywhere.
