Samsung has reported that it will delay the release of it's dual format player BD-UP5000, first announced in April and given a Q4 release date, now this player will be released in December for the tail-end of the Christmas shopping season, the BDP-2400 was cancelled outright, while the BDP-1400 will go forward. Samsung has not released any information for the reason to cancel the development of it's high end player nor the delay.
