SACD/CD Player Advice needed

I'm not sure why this is a problem as I have my little HP amp on top of my Players.

That's good then.

Anyways I came here to find out if the Sony Player I have would play 24bit files from the USB port and if not would that other model I brought up in my first post do it...it appears not.
Also, if I was getting the full SQ from a SACD...strike two.
Regarding the USB port it's too bad WD Play doesn't make a reader for Audio files like it does for video.

If I came across anything I will let you know, for now nothing, unfortunately..

I was just informed on a SACD forum that the Sony's digital outs WILL put out the full DSD so that is great news.

Be careful, not all of its digital outs do, only the HDMI digital out can output DSD. The coaxial and the optical digital outputs of your Sony cannot output DSD. In fact I am not aware of any players that can output DSD via coax and optical digital outs. Denon can do it via their own Denon Link and some older universal players could possibly do it via the IEEE1394 firewire connector but that's about it.
