REW Buzz and Pop Sound

When using Room EQ Wizard (first time user) I'm getting a quiet background hum then a slight pop and it stops. Then when I click "Measure" it hums for 5 seconds then pops......all while the logarithmic tone is going on. If I close the measure window it does it again but stops for a while until I open the "Measure" window again. When I close REW it does it once then it doesn't come back until I open REW again.
Any idea what's causing it...or if it's affecting my tests?

BTW I turned off wifi, Bluetooth,and put my phone in airplane mode. It seems to be event related. I.e. when I click on a new window or start a new measurement.

It seems like you are having some drivers related issues, are you using Java, or ASIO?
In any case, may be try uninstall and reinstall REW and if problem persists, post on the following and you will likely get more help, ocasionally, even JohnM would response.

Java and the UMM-6 mic. I thought I had to use java with that mic. I have the calibration file loaded so it shows EXCL.
