Hey ppl
The question I have is following-one friend of mine caught up the idea of replacing woofers in his floorstanders with following ones

His speakers are : Peerless Lord-15

-2x10'' subwoofer
-6.5'' Midrange
-2'' voice coil
-1'' Tweeter Ferrofluid Cooling

IMO here the sybject is better not to be touched without serious reason but still would be very helpful to hear your advice on woofer for those in case it is really recommended
P.S. -Forgot ot write this down, the speakers are featirung 4-band crossover so also on this spec -what can be messed up if speakers' setup altered?

Speakers design s a carefully orchestrated marriage of three things based in math and physics which takes into account the physical/electrical properties of the woofers (and there's a LOt more involved than simply fitting in the box) , the physical dimension of the box and the crossover.

If you get lucky, it may be almost as good as the original woofers but, unless there's something wrong with them, I wouldn't bother. IMNSHO, if you want more bass, gets subwoofer.
