renting HD-DVD's locally?

Does anyone's local blockbuster have HD-DVD's or BlueRay discs? I know netflix has them, probably blockbuster's internet rental service too, but none of the local rental stores do here. Is this the same for everyone else?

I was able to borrow an HD-DVD player from a local dealer to try it out. I called every rental store in town (most of which ended up not being the kind of establishment I looking for, ahem...) and nobody had them. In fact, most thought I was just talking about normal DVDs.
