Remote-ly Interested?

One of my remaining equipment decisions is choosing a remote for my media room. In theory, it will control my lights (Lutron spacer system), AV receiver, projector, DVD player and other devices.

I'm open to ideas and really interested in what other people have found works well. I've been looking at the Logitec Harmony 1000, but the reviews I've read cover the whole spectrum from "I hate it" to "I love it." My question: Which Universal Remote are you using in your room... if it works great, how much does it cost?

Thanks -

I really like the software interface on my MX-900 from Universal. Has a nice weight to it as well. Has worked flawlessly for me. Seems most have Harmony's but that is just my impression.

I have a URC MX-900. I had a Harmony 688 for two years before the MX-900 and I like the 900 better. The buttons are laid out better and the MRF-350 RF base station makes operation fool proof. The software for the MX-900 is very good and extremely flexible.

I'm a fan of the URC remotes too. If you don't mind manual programming and don't want to spend a fortune, the MX-350 can do everything you need if you have 10 or fewer devices. Throw in the MRF-200/250 basestation and the grand total will be less than $250.

I use the bottom of the line Harmony and it is great.
