Why................. You........................ :D

Some sensitive souls may still correlate "audible illusions" with auditory hallucinations because it implies that it was never "real".

;)
That my friend would be delusional

I don't mean to suggest that "we're all in the matrix, man!" but no one with a passing acquaintance with cognitive science thinks we have direct access to objective reality.
Well, what is the alternative? Solipsism? :)

I'm not a big fan of dueling perceptions and solipsism isn't a healthy worldview to adopt for various reasons. IME, in order for us to function we need to believe in a reality and preferably one that is real. Our perceptions of reality and reality function independently of one another ...

.. but who knows, perhaps I *am* the solipsist and you are just a fragment of my fractured subconscious ...

Oh, no, first it was hallucinations, then illusions, and now it's delusions?

Why, some gentle souls may get offended by that gesture. :D

I agree that solopsism is a useless worldview, and I would not advocate it. On the other hand, I do not think you need to believe in reality to function in it. Few people can agree what reality is, yet many people function in it. You and Alexander the Great would have radically different perceptions and ideas regarding the nature of reality, yet you must agree that he was very capable of functioning in it.

Seriously, I have no life.

Some sensitive souls may still correlate "audible illusions" with auditory hallucinations because it implies that it was never "real".

But the emotions we "feel" (which are ultimately connected to the sound we hear) are very much real. ;)
Well, it certainly wasn't real to others outside of that person but was real to the person, a "singular reality," in my opinion.
I have experienced this and so have others have asked me to repeat it when nothing was said. :D

Everything has been an audible illusion. Take this blue pill and your experience in audiophile quality stops now and you will be stuck in a world made up by Bose, take the red pill and your audiophile journey continues and well show you how far the journey goes

But once you take the red pill, you can never go back. And I took the red pill a long time ago the minute I bought my first Acurus 200x3 amp and Acurus RL11 preamp and NHT speaker system.

However, before that, I did own a Bose 0.02.0001 system (as opposed to 2.1). ;)

The 2 Bose cubes equal a fraction of a bookshelf speaker and the Bose bass module equals a fraction of another bookshelf speaker. :D

You will like this. It's a computer setup with three network cards going to a switch. All configured for fault tolerance.

That means that while the media player is playing, cables can be switched out with ZERO break in playback. Think about this: The computer is playing back and there is NO cable connected. Now there are audiophiles that think they can tell the difference in Ethernet cables (ones that pass the specification that is):

there has been a lot of poor individuals that have fallen into the dark side at one time or another . But the truth be told, the red pill did get you to where you are today

It's been about four days. If Irv is still breathing, I'm going to assume that Fuzz didn't tell his girlfriend that someone on AH called her a "big" girl. :D
I said something similar to that one time.............she hit me with a riding crop. If you don't know what that is, just ask Rick and Doug, I hear they use it on each other all the time

If you don't know what that is, get learnin' or kiss your chances of getting to the finals good-bye.
