This is a great price on a very good portable wireless speaker!
It has a good clean/clear sound, but if you are looking for heavy bass, this is clearly not the speaker you are looking for.
Major features:

The design is pretty rugged - metal grill and the passive radiators on the ends are pretty solid with good rubber surrounds. Your toddler can play with these without fear of damage (unless you give him a ball peen hammer)!
Splash proof - you can rinse it, but don't submerge it!
The form/size is very close to a Monster drink can.
